MORNING MINUTE JUNE 29th

Morning everyone, Darren at Leviathan Financial here. So stocks are firmer this morning. , you’ll see the s and p up comfortably above the 4,400 area. Yesterday we had, uh, chairman Powell talk about how the majority of Fed voters see another two more hikes before the end of the year. And, , Fed’s, Fed’s Bostic talking just now on the wires saying that we’ve only been in restrictive area for eight months or so, and that basically still hasn’t quite filtered through.
And that a pause does not necessarily mean that there is any, , ease up in the fight against inflation. I’ll just move myself here. So having said that, the market’s also decidedly feeling like it’s. , focusing on the upcoming holiday, , the July 4th holiday, which is on Tuesday. So you probably won’t see any action on Monday or Tuesday.
However, also tomorrow, , we have PCE , where, , Powell also said that he saw that the expectations for that are coming in at 4.7%. So anything outta line there, , may sway, uh, fed voters one way or another. , today we do also have, later on, we’ve got the GDP deficient, , revision and pending home cells, which expected to be unchanged
