Morning everyone, Darren at Leviathan Financial with less than two weeks ago, before the US runs outta money. Optimism is building that both sides of Congress will be able to come together to prevent the unthinkable. With that, the s&#038;p is having a charge at the upside range, , that has been established since last year and trading at 4215. 
Uh, even treasuries and sofa are up. Rates are lower, which is odd given the Fed rhetoric yesterday implying that a, a hike is going to be definitely on the table at the next meeting. Therefore, eyes will be on the two speakers today for President Williams and Fed Chairman Powell later on to give any indications to whether that&#8217;s the case, even though the market is still building in cuts immediately afterwards. 
Should be an interesting time. , watch out for the news on the debt ceiling and rates going forward. Other than there, everyone, have a great weekend and good luck trading.

With less than two weeks to go before the US runs out of cash, optimism is building that both sides of Congress will come together to prevent the unthinkable. Policymakers in Washington hinted yesterday that a bill to raise the US debt ceiling may be put to a vote next week. This encouraging development spurred hopes that the current deadlock will follow the same outcome of previous standoffs, namely that there will ultimately be some kind of agreement.

A slew of hawkish Fed speak caused money markets rates to creep up to a 40% implied June hike while we still await a resolution to the debt 

END OF DAY REPORT EQUITIES, FUTURES & OPTIONS

Morning everyone. Darren at Leviathan Financial. Today is the day, the fed rate decision, , looking like we&#8217;re gonna definitely do 25 basis points, but the focus will be on what the language is after the meeting. On the one hand, you have the Fed wanting to fight inflation and their rhetoric saying that they&#8217;re gonna be strong in this and keep rates higher for longer. 
And on the other hand, a potential debt. Limit crisis and a potential banking crisis. However, for now, the S&#038;P is , rallying up four points and the European gauges up 0.4%. Bouncing from the S&#038;P&#8217;s rally, , at the end of yesterday. , still pricing in cuts towards the end of the year, so we&#8217;re gonna have to see, if that pans out. 
ADP Employment &#038; ISM Services today. Followed by, 2:00 PM Eastern the Fed. So good luck to everyone and have a good day. trading

Today is the day, on one hand you have inflation and the other a potential banking &amp; debt ceiling crisis, what will the FED do?

Morning everyone. Darren at Leviathan Financial. It&#8217;s inflation day today investors are cautious coming into this number, , Euro first 300 is only off slightly along with the S&#038;P. What is interesting is that volatility is already starting to be marked off. 
It has been bit up coming into this number, for fear of what might happen. , the numbers that you need to look out for, are CPI plus 0.4% a month, on month, 5% year over year, anything higher and rates will go up, stocks will go down. , last time I was in line, we had a very tight range of 64 points in the S&#038;P. 
On average, it&#8217;s about 125, so expect a bit of movement today. That&#8217;s what we normally get along with. Volatility coming off. As the Fed decide with this number what to do with rates. On the one hand we&#8217;ll have this inflation number, on the other hand, the upcoming debt ceiling possible and the issue with the credit crunch and commercial property.
