Morning everyone, Darren at Leviathan Financial with less than two weeks ago, before the US runs outta money. Optimism is building that both sides of Congress will be able to come together to prevent the unthinkable. With that, the s&p is having a charge at the upside range, , that has been established since last year and trading at 4215.
Uh, even treasuries and sofa are up. Rates are lower, which is odd given the Fed rhetoric yesterday implying that a, a hike is going to be definitely on the table at the next meeting. Therefore, eyes will be on the two speakers today for President Williams and Fed Chairman Powell later on to give any indications to whether that’s the case, even though the market is still building in cuts immediately afterwards.
Should be an interesting time. , watch out for the news on the debt ceiling and rates going forward. Other than there, everyone, have a great weekend and good luck trading.
